However, some anime is a lot of fun to watch. These are No Game No Life and Problem Children.
Problem Children
Problem Children are three psychics that have been dropped into a world that runs on games. In this world, various communities challenge each other for land and resources through gameplay. The characters in this anime can resolve most of their problems. By using their skills and knowledge from video games.
The premise of No Game No Life and Problem Children is pretty much the same. They both have protagonists who get sent to a fantasy world that runs on games. In both of these shows, the protagonists are exceptionally good at playing. The games often become the star players of their factions.
These two shows are quite similar, but they also have a lot of differences that make them unique. For example, Problem Children has a more lighthearted tone and has less fanservice than No Game No Life does.
No Game No Life is more action-packed and has a lot of ecchi to it. It also has a sibling semi-romantic relationship that many fans find a bit too over-the-top.
Regardless of which one you choose, these shows are both very entertaining and have very interesting plots. If you enjoy No Game No Life then I would highly recommend this. Anime as it has a similar premise and will be quite enjoyable for most people.
No Game No Life
No Game No Life follows the adventures of Sora and Shiro. Legendary MMORPG gamers and societal shut-ins. After beating a mysterious challenger in chess, they are summoned to Disboard. A land where games decide everything.
The series was originally published under Media Factory’s MF Bunko J imprint. And has received an anime adaptation directed by Atsuko Ishizuka. The first three volumes of the light novel were adapted, and the series has since expanded to six books.
To keep things fresh and interesting. The anime adds short and easily solved mini-games in between the main storyline. While this isn’t a huge deal, it does make for some hilarious moments.
One of the most intriguing aspects of No Game No Life is its characters. While they’re all extremely competent gamers. Each one has a different personality and traits. For instance, Sora is very misanthropic and depressive. While Shiro’s is a bit more optimistic and outgoing.
There’s also a lot of fanservice packed into this series, but it doesn’t go too far out of the way to be too distracting. There’s plenty of boob physics and grouping, plus Sora’s delusional fantasies. That can turn into real-world situations (especially during the battle with Kurami).
Despite these annoying ecchi elements, No Game No Life is fun. Watch that doesn’t take itself too seriously. It’s a great choice for fans of a comedic adventure and is one of the best shows to watch if you’re in the mood for a laugh.
Kakegurui
Kakegurui follows Yumeko Jabami. A transfer student at Hyakkaou Private Academy who is addicted to gambling. Her obsession disrupts the status and reputation of other gamblers within the school’s student council.
The story of Kakegurui is a classic psychological shounen. And the character designs and animation styles are superb. It’s one of the best animes ever made and is worth a watch.
Aside from the main characters. The series also includes several other players. Those who all seem to have their reasons for forming their clans or guilds. This ties into the series’ concept of the student council being a sort of social network for students. It is to compete against each other on their own, or with others who have similar interests and goals.
It’s not a particularly common genre, but both No Game No Life and Kakegurui are a lot of fun to watch. They both take games to a new level, and they both involve high stakes and ridiculous setups.
